The Milwaukee® 1-1/2″” x 18″” Ship Auger Bit drills through around 2X the nails compared to the competitive auger bits without demanding re-sharpening. You can drill into clean or nail-embedded wood confidently while installing Romex wire, Pex water lines, rebar, bolts, and rope in piers, playground equipment and landscaping. The flutes are broader for extreme chip eradication, even in deep holes. The polished and coated flute finish ensures the chips to not stick to the bit, even while drilling in material that includes sap or glue. The through-center cutting design produces a more solid striking point against the nails in comparison to the competitions’ ahead-of-center and behind-center designs. The extended shaft length makes it easier to drill deeper or overhead without any extension required.
